Designed for SOLE’s North Vancouver boardroom, this cork table celebrates their commitment to this extremely sustainable material. Made of blocks of conglomerated, ground cork and local wood accents, and 4’6″ x 12′.

While at SOLE I was the operations manager for ReCORK, a wine cork recycling initiative where we collected over 40 million corks. The idea had been to collect the corks, and then use them to manufacture shoe platforms. SOLE has not yet launched the cork platforms we designed and developed, but hopefully they will be launched sometime in 2014-2015.
