Chooze had already had their factory make two prototypes before they approached me about helping with this project. You can see from the photos that the prototypes did not convey the spirit of Chooze at all! Instead of fun and child-like, they were either an unattractive version of my grandfather’s slippers or a kind of shapeless blob, albeit with a great, printed pattern.
After a short concept round, the final drawings enabled the factory to produce exactly what Chooze wanted.
Featuring Chooze’s colorful and playful prints, featuring two different prints for each pair – the left and right color-coordinate but have different prints. Microfiber upper and faux fur lining.
